Job description

The successful applicant will play a critical role in championing the school’s efforts to develop and retain the best possible talent. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new role within the organisation and to build on your experience in developing and refining an established talent development programme within a supportive environment. You will provide strategic direction on talent development across the School, ensuring that the school retains its talent and engages colleagues to deliver excellence for students. You will focus on staff and leadership development, succession planning, and designing and implementing programmes for performance management. This is an exciting opportunity to bring innovation to talent development across the school, to refine and improve effectiveness and to develop robust retention strategies. The role reports to the Director of Human Resources.

Job Requirements
  • Degree holder or equivalent
  • Relevant working experience in similar capacity
  • Excellence in written and spoken English
  • Excellent relationship building and management skills in order to foster long-standing partnerships with members of the school community.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the School
  • Culturally aware and able to relate to, work with and understand individuals from a wide variety of cultural, racial and religious backgrounds
  • Passionate about learning and educational research; fully aware of current initiatives and innovations in education
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to engage, enthuse and inspire others, with high levels of personal integrity
  • Ability to use initiative, assume responsibility for tasks and projects and to resolve problems
  • Confident, mature, forward thinking and self-motivated with proven ability to work independently as well as a good team player
